Mitch Grissim & Associates Becomes Grissim & Waterman as Jesse Waterman Takes the Helm
NASHVILLE, TN – After more than four decades of dedicated service to the Middle Tennessee community, Mitch Grissim is retiring, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the firm. With this transition, Mitch Grissim & Associates will now be known as Grissim & Waterman, as longtime attorney Jesse Waterman steps into the leadership role.
Jesse has been an integral part of the firm since 2011, first joining as a paralegal while attending law school. After earning his law degree from the Nashville School of Law and being admitted to practice in Tennessee in 2013, Jesse quickly established himself as a passionate advocate for injury victims. He has successfully represented clients in personal injury, automobile collision, and workers’ compensation cases, taking many to trial to secure the best possible outcomes.
Since 2018, Jesse has served as Managing Attorney, overseeing the firm’s daily operations while maintaining a hands-on approach with clients. Now, as the firm transitions to Grissim & Waterman, he is committed to upholding the same standard of excellence and compassion that clients have come to expect.
Mitch, now 70, is looking forward to retirement, which includes traveling, managing real estate, and spending time with his grandchildren—alongside his loyal Australian Shepherd, Killi. His trust in Jesse’s leadership ensures that clients will continue receiving top-tier legal representation without disruption.
